What Is The 12 Minute Affiliate System?

12 Minute Affiliate is a system that simplifies the process of earning commissions from promoting products that were created by others, or affiliate marketing.

This is accomplished by providing pre-made “funnels” to drive traffic to the sales page for your offer. You decide which offers you would like to promote, then choose which funnels you would prefer to use. Next, just send traffic to the corresponding link for each funnel. You have the option of either paying for the “done for you” traffic supplied by the system, or sending your own traffic to your links.

If you prefer not to pick the offers yourself, you have the option of leaving the selection process up to the system. You will just need to provide your clickbank user name, and the system will promote the appropriate offers for the niche that you select.

The system also boasts a “quick-start check list” to help you get up and running. In all honesty, this is a nice touch as they guide you step-by-step through the initial setup process. Again, this is a very simple process, even for the newest marketers among us. They supply a full set of instructions that go hand in hand with the checklist if you find it necessary.

Can You Make Money With This System?

In my opinion, the system itself is sound. I’ve purchased the system myself, and the opt-in pages seem to do their jobs. About 35% of the people that were sent to the opt-in pages are now on my mailing list. Unfortunately, none of those people have purchased the product up to this point.

Unless you already have a large mailing list, it may be more difficult (or expensive) to make money with this system than advertised. The “done-for-you” traffic that is available for purchase through the system will cost you about $1 per visitor, and a visitor does not guarantee a click, let alone an opt-in.

There are a number of resources available in the member’s area that show you how you can drive free traffic to your links, but they will require a substantial amount of time and energy to create any kind of consistent traffic flow.

So yes, you can make money with this system…..but not as easily as advertised. If  you are spending about a dollar per visitor, then you need to ask yourself how many sales you would need to convert just to cover the price of advertising?

My Final Thoughts 

Overall, I really do like this system. I think that Devon Brown is legitamately a good person who would like to see his affiliates succeed. As I’ve said before, I believe that the system itself is sound, and it really performs the functions that are advertised……just not as easily as advertised.

With that being said, I don’t really think that the answer to a consistent passive income is to invest in any system that is going to require you to constantly focus on sending traffic to opt-in or sales pages in order to get results.

Don’t get me wrong, there are many affiliate marketers out there who perform very well with these systems. I say more power to them! Unfortunately, I believe that only a select few have figured out the rules for making money with these systems, and the rest of us are left spending money on hopes and dreams that never seem to materialize.

My personal preference is to build a solid foundation for my business. I’d rather spend a little more time on the front end and develop an income source that will serve me for years to come, all from the initial work that I put forth in the beginning. A good foundation will drive traffic to your site naturally, instead of needing to buy traffic over and over again.
